1. What is required to attend?
Students:
- Be a PAID and APPROVED SHPE member for the 2011-2012 fiscal year to register and renew your membership on July 1, 2012 to attend.
- APPROVED resume created on the OneSHPE system
Professionals:
- Be a PAID and APPROVED SHPE member for the 2011-2012 fiscal year to register and renew your membership on July 1, 2012 to attend.
2. What does registration include?
- Keynotes, workshops and materials
- Roundtrip Airline ticket to Denver, Colorado (arrangements by SHPE)
- Three complete meals, plus snacks throughout the day.
- Shared hotel accommodations (arrangements by SHPE)
- Closing leadership ceremony
3. Where can I find the registration form?
All registrations will be processed online via OneSHPE. We do not have a paper registration forms available. However, you can print your receipt from OneSHPE. If you require an invoice, please contact

4. Can I pay my registration fee by check or money order?
Payment by credit card via OneSHPE only.

5. I received an error message when making my online registration payment.
DO NOT submit your payment transaction more than once. If you receive an error submitting your credit card payment, please send an email with the error message to

6. I became a SHPE paid member and I still do not have access to register.
Students: OneSHPE checks if you are a PAID and APPROVED SHPE member for the 2011-2012 membership year and a resume must be created on OneSHPE.

7. How do I create an OneSHPE ID?
If you do not have an OneSHPE ID, go to the OneSHPE login page and click on "Create OneSHPE ID". If you have any questions, please contact

8. When will I receive my confirmation notice?
Confirmation notices will be emailed to all registrants by June 25, 2012.
9. Two executive board members from my chapter would like to attend NILA.
Professional and student chapters are guaranteed one chapter executive board member to attend NILA. Registration and payment are required by the early registration deadline, May 31, 2012. The second chapter executive board member will be placed on a waiting list on a first come, first served basis, until the late registration date, June 15, 2012.
10. How do I make travel and hotel arrangements?
Once registration closes, you will receive a confirmation packet with instructions on reserving your flight for NILA, as well as hotel information.
11. When do I arrive?
Students - August 1 between the hours of 12:00pm-6:30pm CST. Professionals & Graduate Students - August 2 between the hours of 2:00pm-6:30pm CST.
12. Can I register my chapter executive board member(s) instead of having them register individually?
Chapter executive board members have the option to register members from their chapter on OneSHPE.
13. What are the registration deadlines?
EARLY Registration deadline: May 31, 2012 11:59pm PST REGULAR Registration deadline: June 15, 2012 11:59pm PST
14. What if my chapter has exhausted all resources and does not have any funding?
- SHPE offers full scholarships to NILA to eligible chapters. Deadline to Apply: April 20, 2012.
- You can do a fundraiser with your chapter or formally contact local companies to request financial assistance.
15. What is the Cancellation Deadline?
All cancellations must be received by email to

. Include "Cancellation for NILA 2012" in the subject line. Cancellations received by June 15, 2012 11:59pm PST, are eligible for a 50% refund of registration fees. Cancellations received after June 15, 2012 11:59 PST, are not eligible for a refund of registration fees. You will be required to provide your credit card information for full payment of your airline ticket if your flight is reserved.
16. What if I received a scholarship and I need to cancel?
If you are a scholarship recipient and you CANCEL or are a "NO SHOW", you will be required to provide your credit card information for full payment of your airline ticket if your flight is reserved.
17. What do I do if we want an executive board member from our chapter to attend NILA, but elections have not taken place?
If chapter elections have not taken place, you may register and submit payment for your chapter and submit the name of the participant after elections (by June 15, 2012) to

18. I can't attend NILA, but someone else from my chapter executive board wants to replace me.
You are allowed to send a replacement from your chapter if you are not able to attend. All replacements and name changes must be made by June 15, 2012 11:59 PST to

19. I attended NILA last year. Can I attend again this year?
Due to the fact that the educational curriculum is updated every 3 years, attendance is restricted to once every three years. However, another executive board member can attend on behalf of your chapter.
