What is the SHPE Passport Program? The SHPE Passport Program offers SHPE Conference 2011 participants the opportunity to win great prizes ranging from Kindles to Dreamworks gift baskets by attending select SHPE Conference Workshops, Technical Seminars, and visiting various Exhibitor Booths at the SHPE Conference Career Fair & Graduate School Expo.

How does it work? Inside your SHPE Conference bag, which will be given during registration, you will find the SHPE Passport Postcard. This postcard will be stamped at the workshops, seminar and booths that you must participate in or visit from a select group. Immediately following the completion of your SHPE Conference registration, please proceed to the SHPE Passport Booth to have your postcard stamped with your arrival date and time. The numbers of stamps required will depend on the arrival date and time of each participant.

After you have received all the required stamps, please submit your SHPE Passport Postcard to the SHPE Booth during the SHPE Conference Career Fair & Graduate School Expo before 2:30PM. A SHPE Conference volunteer will validate that your SHPE Passport Postcard is eligible based on your conference arrival date and time.  If you are eligible your Postcard will be entered it in the raffle gondola. The SHPE Passport Event Raffle will be held on Saturday at 3:00PM. If your SHPE Passport Postcard is selected at the SHPE Passport Event Raffle, your name will be called… and you will be the owner of one of several great prizes!

The stamps that you must obtain in order to be eligible for the SHPE Passport Event Raffle are the followings:

1. 1 stamp per day from the workshops that start at 9:00 AM on both Thursday and Friday
2. 1 stamp from any of the 5 Technical Seminars that will be held during Thursday and Friday
3. 10  stamps from University booths and 15 stamps for non-University Exhibitor Booths (i.e. Corporations, Government Agencies, Non-Profits, and Organizations ) that you visit at the SHPE Conference Career Fair & Graduate School Expo

The first members that submit an eligible SHPE Passport Postcard to the SHPE Conference volunteer at the SHPE Booth will receive a free Star Award Show Ticket (while supplies last.)
